At Trust You Can Tell Counseling our mission is to walk alongside individuals as they navigate the journey of healing, growth, and self-discovery. Through evidence-based psychotherapy, psychological assessments, consultations, and holistic services like QHHT, I provide compassionate, personalized care that supports mental wellness at every stage of life. This space is built on empathy, trust, and the belief that every person’s well-being matters.
I envision a world where mental health care is accessible, empowering, and deeply human. A world where individuals and professionals feel seen, supported, and equipped with the tools to thrive. By integrating science, soul, and lived experience, I aim to transform lives—one meaningful connection at a time.

I am a licensed psychologist, clinical social worker, and mental health therapist with more than two decades of experience providing culturally responsive, client-centered care. My work is rooted in a passion for helping individuals, families, and communities access meaningful healing and transformation through evidence-based practice, clinical insight, and a deep respect for each client’s journey.
My background spans an extensive range of professional settings, including forensic psychology and social work, collegiate mental health, crisis intervention, and outreach therapy. I have worked with individuals from ages 5 to 95 across five continents, offering services in both English and Spanish. This multicultural perspective enriches the therapeutic relationship and allows me to tailor care with cultural humility and sensitivity.
I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) and a Master’s in Social Work (MSW), and I am licensed in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Mexico, Florida, and Puerto Rico. My therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and an eclectic blend of models, including neurolinguistic programming and solution-focused therapy.
Beyond therapy, I have served as a professor and researcher in topics such as domestic violence and trauma, and have worked with government agencies such as the Judicial Branch, Department of Corrections, and Department of Education. My experience also includes, conducting psychological testing, and providing supervision and mentoring to other professionals in the field.
I believe healing is a collaborative process. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or professional development, I’m here to help you discover insight, build resilience, and move forward with clarity and strength.
This is where my journey began where I grew up, studied, and first discovered my passion for helping others. Puerto Rico’s warmth, resilience, and natural beauty continue to shape the care I provide today.
